Praise God for the fifth day of the Great Experiment. I pray that He is enriching you in every way as you draw close to Him and follow His will for your life. Part of our commitment is to represent Christ openly as we go about our days. It can be a temptation to self-censor and not talk about Jesus even when circumstances call for it. In Romans 1:16, 17 the apostle Paul says he’s not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of salvation for all who believe. Isn’t that amazing? All who repent of their sins and put their faith in Jesus Christ can be rescued of their sins and have eternal life with the living God. What great news! The message of Jesus Christ is the most influential, world-changing message in the history of the world, yet many have not heard or understood it. It’s our joy to make the gospel known!

Here is today’s guide for the “Five Rs” of The Great Experiment, March 1-10, 2019.
1. Read and Pray
Matthew 5:14-16 - "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Read Matthew 5:1-16 for more context.
Today’s Prayer Points
- Confess that you are the light of the world and the salt of the earth, because of Jesus.
- Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with boldness and goodness to let the light of Christ shine through you today.
What sins do I need to repent of today? What hindrances to my devotion to Christ can I remove today?
3. Respond to the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, what is the one thing you most want me to do today? (Write it down, and do it today).
4. Represent Christ.
How will I bear witness to Christ today? With whom shall I share the Gospel today?
5. Raise Your Faith.
God, give me the strength and courage to complete my Joshua Faith Challenge.
