Sunday, March 3, 2019 - Day 3
Dear Friend In Christ,
Day 3 of the Great Experiment! I pray that God is enriching you in every way as you step out in faith to seek Him with all your heart. Are you asking the Holy Spirit to speak to you each morning about what He would have you do that day? Jesus says in John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice,” and throughout the Scriptures men and women hear God speak to them and take action. If God puts on your heart the need to confess something, then He’s speaking to you. If He brings to mind the name of someone you need to forgive, then He’s speaking to you. He wants to speak to you about all sorts of things and as you take time to listen, your life will be enriched. It seems that the apostle Paul heard God tell him in Acts 14:9 that a crippled man had the faith to be healed. What is He telling you?
Everything you may hear from God must be weighed against the Scriptures. This is how you can determine whether the message you heard is from God or from the devil or your own soul. If you’re not sure, ask a friend who knows the Bible well so that you can have confidence you’re hearing from God.
Every blessing to you in Christ as you seek the Lord,
Yours in Christ,

Here is today’s guide for the “Five Rs” of The Great Experiment, March 1-10, 2019.
1. Read and Pray
2 Peter 3:9 - “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”
Read 2 Peter 3:1-13 for more context.
Today’s Prayer Points
- Praise God for the gift of repentance and faith.
- Ask the Lord to give you His heart for the lost.
- Pray for the people in your life who need to come to Christ.
What sins do I need to repent of today? What hindrances to my devotion to Christ can I remove today?
3. Respond to the Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, what is the one thing you most want me to do today? (Write it down, and do it today).
4. Represent Christ.
How will I bear witness to Christ today? With whom shall I share the Gospel today?
5. Raise Your Faith.
God, give me the strength and courage to complete my Joshua Faith Challenge.
